MILOUS, I don't know if you can help us, but at this time looks impossible to us get some update to firmware for RHB 430N units. Exist some procedure to request this update or are we sentenced to live with our old version?

Thanks.

Re: 430N garmin nav colors

Here are other displays of ver 33.01.19

And a Nav page. The map icon in the upper right on the other pics looks like thumbnail of the View Map button.

Go back with one of these printouts of TSBs from last March:

08-019-12 (for 2011 model year)
08-018-12 (for 2012 model year)

This is a major firmware upgrade to the 430N. It fixes serious bugs (like iPod compatibility) and adds significant new features (like Bluetooth MAP.)

But these don't include the new graphics. (And that's okay with me. I look at the road, not at the screen.)

Re: 430N garmin nav colors

Ok guys I'm back with some more strange info. LOL. Here is what is going on.

Ok, I sold my jeep. Needed a third row seat. Got a Durango and guess what it has the 730n. I hate it. So I went online to ebay and picked up a brand new 430n. Here is where it gets weird. I installed the 430n in my Durango. This radio was made on 8-7-2012 so a few weeks ago. It has green buttons, my 730n has blue buttons at night. But check this out. It does not have the standard Garmin interface either. It has a similar look to what I originally posted but instead of the black and white graphics it has nice colorful graphics but everything has a black background. On top of that the radio buttons are all different. The are gray and red. Yeah, no blue anywhere. It says dodge on the radio but I'm lost as to what car this came from. Now the jeeps have the green lighting so I am assuming it came out of a jeep and I know these radios will say the name of the brand of car of whatever car they are put into so even if its from a Jeep it will still have the Dodge branding on startup. This has been verified from another member that swapped a 430n in there. I will post pics later but I am dumbfounded on the color schemes of these different 430n radios. Everything works great. Hooked right up in my car, no code needed I guess because it is brand new. Lockpick worked straight off the bat. I do however notice a crappy image from the rear camera now that I did not notice on my 730n. Not too bad but noticeable.

So, anyone seen this new color scheme? Red and gray? Kind of looks like the 8.5 screen in the Charger. I kind of like it and the garmin is even cooler this time with better lines and such but do notice less resolution than the 730n. If I didn't want that damn speed limit indicator sooooo bad I would just keep the 730n at this point but I love that freakin garmin.

Re: 430N garmin nav colors

Any new updates on this? I'm also curious how iOS 6, which should be out in a week or two will work with my RHB....and more importantly, the iPhone 5. I hope the latest software for the RHB materializes at some point, as I'd like to keep it up to date.
