Thanks for the link. This worked with no problems.....but any idea how to activate the travel link services? Under subscriptions I have a check mark with Travl link, but I'm not getting any data.....

also, anybody know of an update like this that can disable the lockout on gos input while moving? Even a passenger input option/warning notice would be better.......

Thanks!

search "lockpick", i believe this gives you the functionality you're looking for. Its hardware, not software upgrade.

Thanks...I saw this site referenced elsewhere too. Looks cool, but has a lot of functionality ( and PRICE ) that's more than I need. Extra cameras would be sweet, especially off trail. I test drove the Land Rover LR4 ... Way overpriced for what you get, but it had lots of camera views which were AWESOME!

However, would love an easy fix just to override the lock screen. I'm sure if somebody developed a hack, they could make a few bucks. I think I'd pay $20 for something like that!

I agree. I don't need anything that the lockpick offers, other than nav use while driving.

Has anyone had any problems using the ISO from the above link. I'm tired of waiting for Chrysler to mail one to me. Has anyone been receiving them in the mail lately?

It worked great for me... It took about 20 minutes. The only concerning part was when te radio would 'reset' and the clock would display for several minutes at a time. Just be patient and let the software do it's thing...

And no, I havent received anything from Jeep in the mail. It wasn't mentioned at the dealer when I got my 12k service on Wednesday, either. I think we're on our own on this one!

Thanks, I think I'll try it this afternoon. Wanted to make sure there weren't any issues and then I bring to Jeep and they say I voided the warranty of something. BTW my GC was service yesterday just for an oil change and hopefully the cd update (didn't have the disk either) and there was a recall on the car, some computer update that they didn't know much about. Nothing to do with radio though.

Same experience here. Just be patient during the update, it takes a bit longer than instructions say.

I have to say I found Travel Link pretty useless though. The only thing I am remotely interested in was movie schedules but I just don't go to the movies often enough anymore for this to matter plus often information is not available immediately when car is started - radio has to be on for a while to receive updates.

While the travel link is a little useless, the Gas Price feature is great! I hate when I gas up away from home to find a station at the next off ramp that's 10 cents cheaper...
That being said, I don't know that I'd pay extra for the service.
