Re: 430N (RHB) to 730N (RHR) conversion question

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm looking to swap my 430N for a 730N. I have a 2011 Overland with the Smart Beam headlights. Looking at the above it looks like this mirror is different than the standard auto-dimming mirror which uses the 8221166 mirror cable. Is that correct? If so, is there a new cable I should get instead?

Re: 430N (RHB) to 730N (RHR) conversion question

I Installed the radio the wire and am now ready for the dealer to starscan it. Can anyone tell me what exactly the dealership needs to do In order for my phone to start working with my new setup. I just want to be able to tell them exactly what they need to do so I don't get charged alot

Re: 430N (RHB) to 730N (RHR) conversion question

There might be a solution for Overland owners with Smart Beam but I have not been able to confirm it. The part number for the harness is 82212906. I saw it on the Mopar Supercenter site. The description leads me to believe that this will solve the microphone issue.

For anyone that's interested I've officially decided to throw in the towel on trying to make the swap so I have a new 730N RHR, the 82211666 cable kit (if you have a microphone mirror w/o Smart Beam) and the USB cable 68068278AA available. I know I'll be taking a big loss but have decided to stay with the RHB.

Is the upgrade process for a 2011 JGC Limited pretty straight forward? Still interested in selling your 730N?
