730N Folder Question

I have a USB stick with some of my favorite music. However, when I transfer it to the HDD in the 730N the main folder does not transfer, just the artist folder, album folder and songs. Example: Main folder is titled "Rock" with various subfolders for the different artists and more subfolders for the albums which contain the songs. The main "Rock" folder does not transfer and I have folders all over the place and not in one nice main folder. I'm I doing something wrong?

Re: 730N Folder Question

No expert, but I recall from another thread that the 730N doesn't retain the folder structure you created. It just pulls all of the music and arranges it by Artist, Album, etc. Perhaps the latest GraceNotes upgrade might help with Genre, but I believe I read that only helps when you rip the CD using the 730N.
