This is only if you do not have the unconnect and you add the option for $300 that will give you the remote USB port if you have limited and overland then it is standard this was talked about in the 9/8 chat with the eng

on my unit the ipod connects in the storage unit below the heat and ac controls, i havent seen one with the glove box hook up yet.

But, do you have the 730N in your Overland, or the 430N as is now standard?

Ah, read it in the Chat thread??? Maybe that's where I came upon the option and the pricing. That is for the 430N?

Yes, we're trying to determine what connections come standard with the 430N for iPods without needing to dangle the cord from the faceplate's USB connector.

I also had the RER with out IPOD control in my 2008 Overland. When copying my CD collection the Gracenote database stinks. Lets say you buy a new release. Since the disc is newer than the database. The radio will not recongize it. So it will store the album title as the date, and the tracks as, track 1, track 2, etc. You basically had to wait for Chrysler to release a updated gracenote database disc (once a year).

That's if you're copying from a disc. I have no idea what would happen if you load via USB. I'm computer illiterate.
