Where did you get the 730n RHR? My dealer has only the 730n RER.

So for me it's as good if not better as the 430N, especially since I don't have to take my eyes off the road to look at the NAV. It's a quick glance down at the EVIC or through the speakers. Voice command is a real nice plus. Give it a chance... you'll be happy with it I'm sure.
The turn by turn directions also show up in the EVIC for the 430N models. I also find it very helpful as I do not have to glance down and to the right I just do a quick look down and I know I will need to turn right on XXX Street in .5miles. My only complaint is the lady will have her voice drowned out due to the music playing. I have not used the 730N but I am very happy with my 430N model. Now if we could only get the darn update for TravelLink.

I'm curious about that too, as well as the pricing.

Re: 730N - RER upgrade to 730N - RHR

I've yet to see a compelling reason or significant difference between the RER and RHR that would warrant the price of the upgrade - at least for me.

I also like my 430N but would like to have the split screen that the 730 has. I too care of the voice volume by sitting in my driveway and told it to drive home and each time it spoke I turned up the volume. Got it to a level I was happy with.

I am still trying to figure out if I can put the voices from the Garmin Garage onto the 430N. Has anyone ever done this?

I still don't see anything compelling. Maybe a little quicker? There definitely isn't better graphics, they look the same. Perhaps slightly better Bluetooth support for audio streaming? The RER now works with the iPhone 4 for phone. According to other threads voice command of audio/iPod is not working. Same resolution. Both have EVIC integration. Both have dead reckoning. Album art? What else am I missing?

I am getting the RHR in my GC next week but I've had the RER in my current GC for 2 years and I really don't notice a functional difference much less having it be worth $1000+ for an upgrade from the RER.
