730N RHR Standard on Overlands?

Is the 730N RHR standard on newly built (after 2/1/2011) Overlands?

I think it is, but I have seen some overland and overland summits with a $305 credit on the sticker that replaced the 730N RHR with the 430... Don't know if that was a special order or if they were doing that when they were transitioning from the RER to the RHR...

I believe the $305 credit and the the 430 sub was indeed temporary during transition. New Summits are showing up with the 730N RHR. Also shows up that way if you configure online.

No, the RHR is not standard on Overlands, only Summits. It's a $465 option. The RER was standard in the early production run but was backed out dues to availability and made a $305 option.

I stand corrected.

Re: 730N RHR Standard on Overlands?

My Overland was just built in mid March and it came standard with the RER which suprised me. I was expecting the 430N because I though that was standard as i did not pay extra for a radio. I also though they had stopped using the RER when the RHR came out.

That is surprising as it was rumored they were out of RERs. They must have had a few left. Depending on your individual preferences, you either got lucky or unlucky

Re: 730N RHR Standard on Overlands?

It seems that Chrysler has so outstretched the original production estimates that they are putting whatever radio they have in the warehouse instead of delaying production.

Personally, I wanted the 430N and would have actually been a bit pissed if the RER had shown up.
