730N Wigged Out

Backing out of the garage this morning my screen was black for about 10 seconds. It finally came on with the Jeep logo, when the backup cam turned off I had nothing just the picture, no check surrounding crap or the grid-lines.

Later in the day the grid-lines came back without the check surroundings. Then by the end of the day everything was back to normal.

Has anyone else's done this before?

Re: 730N Wigged Out

Yesterday, I was driving from Pa. to Sc. Entered my destination address. Everything was going fine until I deverted from the GPS's original intended route. I wanted to go another route and bypass going through the Phila., Delaware area. After I bypassed the exit the system wanted me to take, the system recalculated my trip which is normal. Then the problem began. It wanted me to turn around and insisted that I take their original route, no matter how many miles I kept going. I kept driving on MY intended path and the GPS kept telling me to turn around. My destination time kept growing further and my estimated remaining miles to go kept building since in the systems mind I kept going further away from the route it wanted me to go. It kept recalculating and it kept telling me to go back. Finally, after driving about 120 miles and over two hours, it updated my intended path, remaining time and mileage.

Mind you I have had this same system in my '08 minivan, and a Garmin in my '11 minivan. I never had a problem in doing this with either one.

I'm beginning to think that the 730 in our WK is posessed. Of course if I told the dealer, they would check it out and find no problems just like with my address book disappearing.
