Re: 8.4 pinout harness 3sixty.3

Well first off you need to give more info. the fact that you didnt leads me to believe your not an installer, and/or dont quite know excactly what your getting into.

the info is out there, most audio shops should have it, or access to it, If not, go to a different shop.

sp that being said... what anyone that is able to get you the diagram will need to know if your GC is amplified or not, and if it is. is it Alpine or HK.

Being that you want to add a 360, im guesisng it is amplified, in which case all the connections you need for your 360 are at the amp in the rear drivers 1/4 panel. you can access the amp plugs by removing the cargo area floor. (you can actually access the plugs under the pocket, but you wont have enough slack on the cable to do anythign with the wires) to get access to everything remove the floor spare tire, and both 1/4 panels.

I am an MECP Master certified installer, and own a 14 GC. It might be bacuse Im a perfectionist, but it took me approx 4 hours, wire up my kicker Sum8. (partially because i put it under my drivers seat)
the 360 is much, much more indepth as far as summing, and setting it up.

I strongly recommend that you get it professionally installed, and be prepared for it to not be cheap. If you brought it to my shop, youd be in the 300$ range JUST for the 360. plus whatever 4 or 5 channel amp, the install of said amp.

Hello! Many thanks for your fast response!
Im not an installer
I have seen how is done. Is not a big thing.
Im not from the US hehe but thanks anyway.
I saw the diagrams on a link a few posts ago that you guys send. I think that my JGC is not amplified. How to know is amplified or not?

If is not amplified I just need to cut out the speakers. 360 should catch up the signal, and make it "digital". Im planning to instal the crux avich-03 interface. So Im planning to cut the interface speaker cable and not the car Factory Harness.
After that is a Rca cable to the amps and the to the speakers.
I dont have a lot of spare time. I will pay for the install

The thing is where to place the sub and the amps.

Whats under the driver seat? I need to explore more my car. The sad thing is I dont hace much time to do it.

I will place some photos of the install if isnt anything of the 360 or the crux avich-03 install

I will replace the speakers. I hope this JGC have a good space an the doors to place a RF power speakers.

Thanks

Re: 8.4 pinout harness 3sixty.3

under the drivers seat UNDER THE FLOOR BOARD, is a pretty deep well that just houses a small 4wd computer. I was able to put my Kicker SUM8 in that well, and my Alpine PDX-v9 under the back seat. with FULL functionality of the back seat folding. I replaced the factory sub with an audioBahn Alum8, and modified the factory subwoofer enclosure to match the specks of the Audiobahn sub. if you are adding a sub box, then you wont need to do it.

You can tell if your system is amplified a few ways. if you have the factory subwoofer in the rear passenger side, then you have the factory amplified system. you will also have speaker in teh CARGO AREA pillars near the roof of the vehicle.

If you DO NOT have the factory amplified system, then you can get the wires you need at the back of the radio. (pull the radio screen out to access the plug)

again the 360 is an extremely in dpeth piece, to which you can tune each speaker individually via Bluetooth and a computer.
YES it is essentiall since high level in, then RCA out. but making sure you have all your polarity/phasing correct could prove to be an adventure.
