Hey JeepOverTheLand,

The 911 and Assist buttons will still work, even without a subscription.

Does my 2013 GC have that feature? Couldn't find anything about it in my User Guide.

That's great to know if you crash and burn, but can't get to the ejection handle.

LORD! I called Chrysler just last week about something unrelated, but happened to ask this very question and was told neither button works without a Uconnect subscription.

Since I purchased a Mopar EVTS, which installed it's own emergency button, I wasn't really concerned. However who am I supposed to believe - Kori or the people at Chrysler?

I'll just get to mashing the mirror buttons tomorrow morning to find out.

Re: 9-1-1 button on rear view mirror

One would think that it would not be to FCA's benefit to charge to have active assist and 911 buttons. In the case of the 911 button, liability issues might arise if that's inactivated and can't be used in an emergency.

These aren't available on Canadian vehicles to my knowledge. Would be a nice feature but don't know where the call center would be located.
