Aftermarket Blind Spot Monitor

The side mirrors do an excellent job on the JGC but rode in a vehicle that had the BSM and they seemed to work really well. Has anyone added an aftermarket unit? I'm wondering if the factory BSM can be installed although it probably cost a fortune.

Re: Aftermarket Blind Spot Monitor

From what I hear it's not worth it. Better off just upgrading to a vehicle that's has it. My dealer told me it's possible but with time and cost it doesn't make sense too. But who knows if that was just a sales tactic.

That's kinda what I'm thinking, heck I've been driving 40 years without it. Just wanted to get some feed back on it.
