Aftermarket Remote Starter

I have a 2013 JGC Laredo with Push to Start but I'm having trouble getting behind the Push to Start Assembly where the wire plugs in. Anyone have any idea on how to remove the whole Push to Start assembly?

Re: Aftermarket Remote Starter

The small woodgrain panel that houses the pushbutton has a 7mm screw on each side. You'll want to gain access to the two screws, and then the whole panel comes out.

RIGHT SCREW ACCESS: With the interior as warm as possible, use a plastic pry tool to pry out the big panel around the radio and climate controls. The entire panel, including vents and climate control buttons, comes out as one piece. The (many) clips holding the panel in place usually don't break, but I find that sometimes one or two of them will fall into the opening behind the radio and they're not always easy to retrieve.

LEFT SCREW ACCESS: You've probably already found this part out, but where the steering column goes into the dashboard, there's a sort of plastic "ring" around it. Snap that right loose, and you'll expose the left 7mm screw.
