I figured based on what I liked/didn't like with the system that I may not think that was a worthwhile upgrade. I was right - I don't feel a pressing need to touch them. Plus, they don't have a stock cover, so it would be visibly different.

Yep, bought speakers from various sources - some from Crutchfield, some from Amazon.com, some from Amazon.com sellers, etc. Then brought it all to Best Buy. Honestly, people on here strongly suggested that I not take it to BB, but they did a perfectly good job and given that it was walking distance to me I can't complain at all. The final look is 100% stock. If the light hits the sub just right you can see "pioneer" lettering through the cover, but you basically have to look for it (and it looks perfectly fine).

If I was to do anything else, I would change the head unit (just because this POS keeps freezing and there's no way to reset it other than pulling over, shutting off the car and waiting a few minutes for it to really shut down).

Lol,yeah the head unit can do that occasionally. With regards to the sub install did they put any filler in there to make sure you had no rattles and the sub gave clean lows without reverberation?

Sub install I did myself and I lined the inside of the sub enclosure with Dynamat (it was like $18 off of Amazon). Here's what it looks like with the Dynamat in: http://imgur.com/pK9Jdt5

I had freezing issues and it wouldn't play high bit rate files from a USB. The dealer re-flashed it and it's worked without any problems since.

Also there is a limit on the size of USB/ SD Cards. Pretty sure it's 32Gb.

I am running all the music off of bluetooth via various smartphone music apps (Google Play, Amazon Prime and YouTube, mostly).

I suppose I can reflash it myself.

My error... Think it was an update (TSB) not a re-flash. It updated the font, and maps too. I don't think you can do it yourself.
