Amp in cubby under drivers seat?
I installed the Focal ISS 690 components in my 2015 GC Altitude around Christmas time and I'm now looking to install an amp to power them and a ten inch sub. I'm having a hard time deciding where to install the amp. I plan on doing the JL 700/5V2, which has a fairly small footprint. I want a clean install and don't want the amps out where it can be seen or worry about them getting wet with the traditional under seat mounting. I pulled the lid off of the storage unit / cubby hole under the drivers seat and I think I could get it to fit in there. Any reason why I shouldn't? Has anyone done this? Being a Class D amp, and with the idea that it will be installed on a platform with room all around it I'm not that concerned about heat.
