Any way to disable "Phone call completed"?

I have a 2012 Overland. I guess this has a 730N unit?

The Bluetooth connection to the iPhone works quite well. Whenever the iPhone plays kind of sound, including Siri, a voicemail message, or turn-by-turn voice directions, it plays over the car speakers. The only problem is, whenever the sound stops playing, the Jeep announces "PHONE CALL COMPLETED".

This is especially annoying when I am using my iPhone for turn-by-turn directions: "Turn left in 500 feet. PHONE CALL COMPLETED. Turn left. PHONE CALL COMPLETED. Your destination is on your right. PHONE CALL COMPLETED."

Any way to disable this?

From my experinces, it should only state "Phone Call Complete" after completing a phone call. I do not recall ever hearing that after providing any nav related directions.

You can disable the nav voice directions but it is "all or none". On the surface, it does seems something is wrong and you should have the dealer take a look at that.

He's not talking about the nav voice. He's letting his iPhone do the turn-by-turn, not the nav in the head unit.

My bad and you are right.

[Sox]:

One reason that I can think of as to why the OP is using the nav on his iPhone is that whatever nav program he is using may have more current street info than the nav DB in his Jeep.

Because it is much faster to search for a business name or address using Google Maps on my iPhone than typing it in character-by-character into the Jeep. The built-in nav system works fine and is actually reasonably up-to-date but it takes forever to search or enter an address.

Re: Any way to disable "Phone call completed"?

There needs to be a "Push GPS coordinates" function from a cell phone to the nav system.

That said, when I use my Note 2 for navigation it just plays through the a2dp and doesn't say "phone call completed" at all. It just mutes Pandora, gives its direction, then returns to music. I'd suggest getting a new phone, there may be something wrong with yours.

Mine does the same with my iPhone. It's really obnoxious! I don't think it's the phone though. It did it with my Samsung Jack.

When using an iPhone for directions, assuming your Bluetooth is on, every time there is a direction change or another turn it connects to the Bluetooth and says the directions over the speakers.
I can't get it to turn off. Drives me nuts. Any suggestions?
