That's kinda what I've heard, the 730N is a little more feature rich (VR on the nav & traffic updates), but it sounds like there's lots of little headaches on that model they don't have ironed out yet. This was an earlier build and came with the 430N from the factory, even had a 300 dollar discount for the 430 vs 730 on the sticker. Probably were out of stock as the 730 was being updated to a newer model (RER vs RHR I think)
Overall I really like the Garmin nav on it and all the bluetooth streaming and iPod support work great after the uConnect update and the Travel-Link update. My biggest pet peeve is how the in-motion detection works, won't let you continue where you're at if you slow back down again! PITA.
