Anyone w/ nav problem 730n rer

I bought by 2011 limited in January and haven't been able to store my home adress or enter certain other adresses. My adress 162-31, and on my nav I start to enter the number and I'm only able to enter 1623. I can't enter a dash or other numbers. Every other letter or numeral gets washed out. Been to jeep and called chrysler. My dealer told me that only adresses in Georgia and new York are having this problem. I had the rer in my 2008 and never had any problems. Oh yeah, voice command doesn't recognize my adress as valid either.

I'm still in contact with jeep and are not really giving me any answers. When ever I travel I end up using my wife's Infiniti. I've had my jeep almost 3 months and still no fix

Re: Anyone w/ nav problem 730n rer

Hey not sure if this is relevant to your problem at all but I posted this awhile back about typing in addresses in New York:

I've had issues with that in the New York City area both with my WK2 and my WK but not lack of street address but using the correct street name. For example, on my WK typing in Queens Boulevard is not in there and will not show up. But if you center the map there and physically hit enter then it comes up as Route 25 - which is Queens Boulevard. I've had problems with this on other streets (Main st in my town is also Route 33 and would not show up as both). Hope this helps a little bit.

Thanks for the info, but there's numerous adresses I cannot enter that I tried. My parents, in-laws, grandmother, DMV , etc.

Updated The nav to the 2.402 and still can't enter most address's in new York, especially queens. If anyone has the RHR , maybe you can PM/inbox and I'll give you an address to see if it work. This will give me more info when I bitch to chrysler. I believe it's a problem with the Navteq maps, and not the ReR in general.

Re: Anyone w/ nav problem 730n rer

Same here on my 2011 rer, no address in Queens NY is valid. I called Chrysler only to get told to call Navtech. Navtech told me to goto my dealer and ask him to educate me on address entry! Really!

I'm in the process of trying to get a fix for this. Hopefully soon, and I'll let you know when it's corrected. I'm dealing w/ bayside Jeep.
