pretty sure everything it does requires a model with a cellular modem in it- and also pretty sure only the US models have that.
It would give you access to keyfob functions over the internet via the modem. It also allows you to control a handfull of apps (pandora, slacker, aha) that download to the radio over the modem.
the good news for you is that the keyfob functions generally stink and they charge an exorbitant fee for it's use. And the pandora, slacker, and aha apps aren't exactly stellar- for one they require your phones data- you'd probably be just as happy or happier with siri or google now controlling your cell phone's streaming to the radio.
