Audio playback quality

Have a 730N (RHR) unit. Any noticable trade-offs in audio quality when using BT vs. direct connect (AUX or center console)?

Re: Audio playback quality

I think songs played via BT with my iPhone sound much better than SAT radio stations.

+1, had Sirius in my company car which was a malibu, my BMWs and portable players and it sounded like crap too. What a huge difference when you switch it back to FM, HD FM or CD.

Sat radio is so flat sounding, doesn't matter if you try to change the EQ settings.

Re: Audio playback quality

When you are streaming using the BT, the quality is going to be noticeably worse than if you were playing a CD. Connecting with the USB is somewhere in the middle.

++1 When I say the same things people look at me like I'm crazy, but to me it sounds like AM with some extra bass, okay for talk and sports, but music? No way.

Re: Audio playback quality

AM > Sirius SQ. I would never pay a dime.
