Auto on comfort

So this afternoon I used the uconnect app to start my GC to cool it down (finally getting warm in central PA). When I got to the Jeep the air conditioning was on but not the vented seats. Temperature out was about 78 degrees. I checked the auto on comfort in settings and the only option was "heating steering wheel". I know that the heated seats and vented seats used to be there as an option. Anyone out there run into this? I have the current software. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

The vented seats don't cool the air, so they are not of any value until the cabin cools down. They are just fans. That's different than seat heaters which radiate directly and need to heat up.

Probably not possible since the wheel is designed to collapse under force in a collision. Further, the cooling system would have to be self contained since making coolant connection in something that can fully rotate would be difficult and still keep them from leaking.

back to the OP,'s question...so u r saying u don't have the choice to enable heated/vented seats....hmm, that check box should not be missing.

the seat vent feature has nothing to do with AC mode/operation as they are only pull-through fan vented from below but the HVAC features work in remote mode its just the "unnecessary" functions like garage buttons, radio, sunroof, windows, etc that don't go live until you press the button to get it from remote start to operation modes.

Apparently it is an option that is missing on European sold wk2's something to do with them not having remote start. Last time I checked my uconnect was up to date and the option definately not there then. I think this a known issue. I'll check if there are any updates available in case this has been added
