Bluetooth Streaming Audio issue

Hello all. I just got my 2014 Overland last week. I replaced a 2011 Overland.

Bluetooth in the 2011 worked perfectly.

I now have an issue streaming from Slacker and Pandora. When I use the steering wheel controls to change the song, the song on my phone changes, as well as the one the the nav screen, but there is no audio unless I hit the mute button on the stereo and unmute it. It does this every time. Every time I fast forward, I hit mute, mute again, and the sound comes on. Obviously quite annoying.

Anyone know what is going on?

My phone is a LG G2.

Make sure the G2 is on the latest build and also make sure that you upgrade the '14 Overland's system as well. There is a sticky at the top with upgrade instructions. My '14 Summit is 1 week old and the dealership did not perform the radio upgrade for me on pickup.
