Haha, well said and point taken. One other item I've noticed...I use a retired 1st gen iPhone as an aux device that I keep plugged into the center console USB port (I have the 430n media center). Works fine most of the time except for one thing-- the first 3 seconds of every song get cut off during playback, even for consecutive tracks in the same playlist. Kind of a buzzkill. I don't use that device very often and only keep it connected out of laziness-- it contains some DRM-protected tracks that I was too lazy to convert and load onto the 430n's hard drive which is where 98% of my music resides.

I understand about the OCD, I lived it for 6 weeks waiting for mine

I use a 5th gen nano hooked up to the USB port and it works flawlessly. I did have to hunt and peck looking for the "shuffle" command until I figured out it's available through uConnect Voice. You simply say "Shuffle On" when using the AUX/iPod connection and it shuffles whatever playlist you have active. I also just found it under the "menu" section when you are playing either AUX (iPod) or HDD. It probably works with a CD too.
