I can't seem to download from the Uconnect update site this time. It's telling me my VIN is invalid, and I've typed it, cut and pasted it directly from my Chrysler Financial login page, had other people type it for me, I'm going insane. Tried every browser I have, turned off all blockers.

Same here! I cant get my VIN to enter.

I too had trouble getting the VIN accepted. I eventually got it to work. I think it worked when I typed in the VIN instead of cut and paste.

BTW, I never got the Akamai loader to work and downloaded the file using Internet Explorer.

Download the update, which is an exe file.
Run that file, it self extracts and you get a swdl.iso file.

Put that on a USB with nothing else on it.

Ignore instructions to not have the vehicle running, with caution to open any garage doors, shove the usb in your radio.

It will offer to upgrade you to 15.26.1, tell it to go ahead.

After it completes, it should make the same offer.

The instructions are on the Uconnect site if you need them. I prefer the ones in the TSB over on Milous' site.

Re: BREAKING NEWS - New uconnect update for MY13 & MY14

To run, or not run, the engine during update. If the engine is running, you can open the door and leave the vehicle during update without interrupting the process. Of course, you don't want to do that on a downtown street. I have a nice isolated area behind my house.

Right on the money! Disabling anti-virus (actually set it to sleep for 10 minutes) works right away. I thought I was going nuts. I tried it on 3 separate computers with no joy until I disabled the anti-virus. Thanks Judge!

I have the RAX JB, so I can't test until they update (soon I'm guessing) but reports like this make me in no hurry to be a guinea pig anyway.

So disappointed that the Equalizer and Shuffle issues haven't been addressed yet. Development/bug fixing is really slow at FCA. But hey, at least we're less likely to be hacked now!

Sorry for wrong info.... I never made it back to say that the bug wasn't fixed. I only shut down for a few minutes and it seemed to retain the EQ settings. After leaving it overnight it's still not fixed.

I was able to download it at home. I was trying at work but it must have been blocked. I just did the install and all went well.

Re: BREAKING NEWS - New uconnect update for MY13 & MY14

I did the update but like I mentioned, I feel the audio is not as crisp as it was before (more bass heavy)....so I went and tried to downgrade to the MY15_RA4_15_06_1_NAFTA version, but received this error message.
