Calibrating 8.4AN Display

When I touch my display, the cursor does not go to the point I touched. It's off quite a distance. It's a trial and error game to put the cursor on a road to add it as a destination.

Is there a way to calibrate the touch screen?

Thanks, Tom

Re: Calibrating 8.4AN Display

make sure its clean - and take a dry toothbrush and rub along all edges of the screen, dust, crumbs etc can mess up some touchscreens (that is if it uses the same type of design) - cant hurt

Re: Calibrating 8.4AN Display

The cursor is not supposed to go to the point you touch. You are supposed to touch the screen and drag the cursor to where you want to go. If the cursor was under your finger it would be hard to see exactly where you were pointing.

"Use the touch-screen to drag the center of the cross over the desired destination."

Tom,

You need to start reading the manual
