Can I easily navigate to city rather than address?

Folks, is there a way I can talk to the Nav system and specify what city I want to travel to? Rather than specific address? Also looking to do this without typing on the screen.

Thanks

Look up a gas station or other landmark in the city and use that address.

Kind-of along the lines of NOT putting your actual home address in your GPS, use a gas station near where you live instead (in case your car is stolen).

In short..no and its just stupid...I know what town but no clue on street names...i've even tried using "main st" and then bomb put on address range! The fix?
Smartphone, voice command navigate me to "business" in "city" "state
in seconds your on your way... people that develop this crap, should use it in everyday life

Re: Can I easily navigate to city rather than address?

I've had halfway decent luck by always asking for something like 50 north or south main or central. Otherwise I just use a gas station's address. Odd to get something like
"turn left onto I-80 for 906 miles, then exit at Virginia street"

Nav input is so terrible, voice or otherwise. Cell phone integration should have happened 5 years ago. Or just put tablets in the dash that are 1/5 the price and 1000x easier to use.

If you forego voice input then scroll down to second screen of Nav options and you can simply go to town centre.
