Re: Changes in new sofware for 430N (except Travel Link)

Just installed the update myself. It seems to me that the start-up (boot) time is significantly reduced. Could be wrong but it was the first thing I noticed.

I noticed after the install that if you turn off the radio after turning off the vehicle and then turn it back on before opening the door the radio comes on but no sound comes out. I have to push on the start button to acc position to get the sound to work...it like its on mute or something...anyone else have this issue?

I noticed this as well, and because of the faster startup you can start using the backup camera sooner.

I also don't believe I was getting the artist/song favorite notifications while in NAV mode prior to the update.

Re: Changes in new sofware for 430N (except Travel Link)

I updated my 430N last night and got the travellink to work. I was driving into work today and found that when you are moving, you cant check sports scores but you can check the weather and you can even check movie listings while you are driving! Guess some things are just too important to restrict!

Just did the update, still cant stream music from my iphone 4 to the radio via bluetooth. How gay is that... It works but skips like a broken record.

I was really hoping this upgrade would fix this issue, I haven't updated yet but the main reason was to fix the BT issue.

Before the update when I tried to search for a song or artist on the HDD you could type in the first letter only and it would automatically jump to that point in the list. Now it will let you type in an entire name and let you press enter to search.
