I had the 430 and could not believe how bad it was compared to other stock headunits. The modern day headunits have small DSP built-in that are designed for the front/rear/sub configuration. Therefore, you do not need to purchase any additional equipment.

Think about it.

Best for now.

So what do you recommend i do? If im trying to keep the stock unit and do a 4 channel amp u suggest the jl cleansweep or the flex? Anything else in the 100-200$ range i could get? Im not too sure i can cancel the lc6i order i did. If i cant can i just add a 32 band eq and have that tuned? Thanks for your help

Greetings,

For amps, any of these from Crutchfield in the 200-300 range is much better:

4-channel Amplifiers at Crutchfield.com

To keep the stock Headunit and use the JL Audio Fix 82 will run 300 + wires.
The Fix will give you a clean flat full range signal to work off. Even budget speakers will sound better. It also easier to sum the channels out of the stock amp.

JL Audio FiX™ 82 Sound processor for adding amps and speakers to a factory system at Crutchfield.com

For now you will use the xovers on the amps and later when you have the budget, you can add a DSP unit.

For around 500 to 650 dollars, plus install these 2 pieces will make a major difference.

Best for now.

So im confused even more now. I see only 1 rca output on the cleansweep and the jl audio fix. How am i gonna run rcas to 2 diff amps off of the cleansweep or fix, when 1 amp is for subs 1 is for speakers with a rca y adapter?

Im looking into dsps now. I see the kicker front row for $250 is that decent? Not looking to spend more than 300 for a dsp. Id rather do it now then get the cleansweep then have to buy something else later

Kicker front row
Audiocontrol dq-61
Lcq-1
Ppi dsp-88r
Soundstream harmony
