Re: D1....Getting new 730N RHR in my Summit!!!

Yep - Mine still shows D in the status page on this forum. Lisa said it is now in production and had the full list of what is being actually built in my Jeep. I think perhaps there is a delay in the system that Milous uses from the start of production until it shows up with all the build status/ But once it is entered into that system, it is updated regularly. Will see....Lisa didn't sound like a tease....at least I didn't get a male Russian voice named "Peggy".

Re: D1....Getting new 730N RHR in my Summit!!!

I called the hotline just a couple minutes ago and this lady said as of yesterday mine just said "gateline, order ready to proceed". I asked her if it said what letter the status is and she said her system does not say that and it also did not have a delivery date. So it sounds like mine is still in D status. Poop ;-)

That's what they had previously been telling me until yesterday...how it gets assigned a letter thingy I don't know.

That seems to be where the confusion is. The hotline will tell you that Gateline means it's staged to be built but in reality it simply means it's passed all the checks and can be scheduled. It doesn't go into D1 until they actually have everything ready to build it and they place it into the factories systems to start butting the pieces together. Mine went D status (Firm Schedule or Gateline) in 3 days then sat a month before it went D1 then was built in 2 days. It then sat in inspection for 9 days before it was released from the plant. It's all over the place.

I had asked Lisa specifically...she said it was being built now. I asked if that meant no longer in what would be called D and was now in D1 she said yes. It was no longer in the firm schedule, gateline thingy anymore. I guess I am in D0.5 or something.... She was knowledgeable and was exited for me that it was no being built after being in gateline for a month.

Re: D1....Getting new 730N RHR in my Summit!!!

So to summarize... any Jeep being built right now will be getting the new RHR and not the RER? I thought someone said the new radio wouldn't even be available until March. Was that info wrong?

As far as I know..from the Jeep hotline...RER is done done done. Some will be getting the RHR but they aren't available in volume yet and many may still get a substituted RHB (430N). We are in a period of 430N's with the RHR's dribbling in....until they are available in volume. That's how I understand it.

Thanks for that info.... so to the best of your knowledge... if I ordered an Overland WITH the RHR on the build sheet in late January... my truck will get one?

The only reason I am even worried about it is because the truck is being belt next week and someone said the RHR wouldn't be available until March.

I assume you are in a similar situation though and it sounds like you are getting the RHR.

Same Here! Ordered my Olverland w/ 730n late January. I'm still in D.. I was wondering if the 730n would slow things down any.

I'd call the Jeep Information Center and ask which media center it shows on your order.... Mine WAS 430N but is NOW 730N RHR.

Re: D1....Getting new 730N RHR in my Summit!!!

OK.....more info now.....I had to call.

There is not an estimated delivery date as mine is in: "ready to proceed on the line". Supposedly that means all parts are there to build it.

Once it has an estimated delivery date you get the official "D1". So, mine is beyond "firm schedule" etc. but NOT yet D1 per se.

Furthermore, Nicole at Jeep said that sometimes the information isn't put in the system right away (sometimes there are info input delays) and it may actually be being built and in trim or paint by now.

Soooo, I do have the 730N RHR and it is either "ready to proceed on the line" or has already proceeded.

*** One caveat....another site says that "ready to proceed on the line" is "D1"....dunno. But Nichole read it to me twice "ready to proceed on the line".
