Door Panel Removal Help Needed.

Can anyone offer any help in removing the front and rear door panels on the WK2?

On the drivers front door, I removed the little screw in the door pull, then popped all of the panel clips around the perimeter, but there are several clips along the top edge that are kicking my A$$.

Any tips, or tricks to remove the panels without destroying them?

Thanks!

Bob

There are two screws attaching the trim panel, download the PDF here: http://www.wk2jeeps.com/wk2_interior_trim.htm

Re: Door Panel Removal Help Needed.

I need to revive a very old thread! Has anyone attempted to remove the inner door panel (the one attached to the door itself, not the inner trim). It houses the connections to the power window. I am trying to gain full access to install more soundproofing material. Anyone who has attempted this, is this a job that should be done by a DIY'er? The PDF is not very clear on how this is removed.
Thanks in advance!

Sorry brother... I don't remember what's involved in the door, itself. I was focusing on the switches & lights. I'm sure someone here can offer some help.

Everything behind the panel is pretty straightforward.

Bump for more info.
