Drod X Not Connected

Not quite a week with the Limited and 730. Monday I went through the set with the Droid X, pairing, 4 digit pin, name etc. I saw after that the contact list downloaded.

I haven't tried to use the phone in the GC until today. The 730 gave me no device. When I went into the phone settings it said paired, no connection.

Any ideas?

Have you tried pairing again?

Re: Drod X Not Connected

Yeah, it asked me for the 4 digit number etc, but nothing changed.

Mine works now, but the first time I set it up I had to delete the pairing and do it a second time to get it to work correctly. Might be worth a try.

Re: Drod X Not Connected

Thanks, I'll give it another try this weekend. I was thinking maybe something in the phone set up. Under Bluetooth in settings, it says it's paired just not connected.

Make sure there is NO OTHER Bluetooth device already connected to your phone.

You'll have to turn off any Bluetooth earpiece prior to entering the vehicle. That should allow your 730 to connect up to your phone.

Thanks! it was paired to the unit in my 330. I haven't had a chance to work with it. That's on my list for tomorrow.
