My wife has been recently hooked into gossip girl like a fish on a hook!
So she's been nagging me to work around it to play Movies on the centre screen like what I did to our old evo x. Is there any work around the centre screen that is available? Like gps disable signal etc etc.
is the blue ray option for the rear / front avalable already?
Being completely serious here, it'd probably be much cheaper and easier to just buy an iPad for the car. The iPad would also be much more functional. Of course, it wouldn't have the integrated look, but you could still use Bluetooth audio to play sound.
Funny, I just saw that too. That would be cool if you had an older iPhone or iPad. You could just keep an old iPhone or iPod touch in the center console and play movies off it on the screen.
The bluray option is available, but not sure how to get it unless it came from the factory as the package includes entirely new seats with the integrated displays and input ports (rca and hdmi). I've seen pictures of it playing video in the front in park, but have not confirmed whether or not the lockpick will enable front video while driving.
I have a '14 Durango and am interested too in enabling front video while in motion as I have that on my Evo IX I didn't get the video package as it's an insane $2k, but am looking at trying to pick up the OEM bluray player plus its mount for the front center console and see if with that plus a lockpick I can enable front video. Haven't found any info on whether or not this is possible.
