It worked great. Like I said, his bass was non existent before we did it.

I would love to see pics of this type of install! It would really help a lot of us JGC owners out.

That being said, after appropriately deadening and sealing the enclosure, what would be the best replacement 8" sub for this application? One with really high efficiency that will work in th given airspace provided by the stock enclosure?

JL Audio? JBL? Kicker? Dayton? RF? Boston Acoustics? Etc...

The CDT HD 8" works great. Dual 2 0hm. Stick with dual 2 ohm unless you find a 4ohm with high sensitivty at least 3db higher and the output would be same. Great article on DIY explaining this.
