The clarity of the speakers improve with the tweeter button on during installation but I should leave it off for real time listening?

You can tell the difference with the button on and off. In our case since our car didn't come with tweeters in the rear doors you want the boost off and tweeter pointed down. Because it is too bright and messes up the staging. Honestly I think the rear doors and center channel alone may have been the biggest issue with this system.

I will report back once I change the front doors out to see if it's actually worth it. It's nice doing this one stage at a time so you can see what upgrades are worth it! So far the center and rears are definitely worth it. I can't even explain how much louder and clearer the radio is at normal volume levels. Can't wait to see if these break in at all.

I meant to ask you were you able to physically point that tweeter down in the rear doors?

Yes don't you see that in the picture of the rears? They turn so you can adjust their direction.

So the fronts and tweeters are in... Sound is great and so clean! I can actually hear the tweeters now the factory ones are terrible!

I used 3m double sided tape to stuff the tweeter in to the stock grill and cut the stock harness and used radio shack quick disconnects to connect the tweeters. You cant tell its aftermarket at all once the door panels are back on. It really sounds amazing now definitely worth it to change everything! For the tweeter i tried both ways and they both worked fine. But i left it red stripe positive yellow stripe negative from the factory harness in the end.

I couldn't tell form the pictures if the rear door tweeters could be moved or angled downward.

I can definitely hear the highs. Did you lose any lows from the stock sub at all? Nice sounding song also

Nope lows are still there phone mic probably can't pick it up. Got rid of all the muddyness and distortion in the lows though for sure. Treble is bright but really brings out so much more detail. Really couldn't stand how flat the factory speakers sounded

For the price of these I'm happy and see it as a worthwhile upgrade all around. Wish I could replace the rear sail panel speakers as well. Might look into doing something there

I've always wondered how
much sound the rear pillar tweeters actually reproduce while listening to anything.
