I call my wife "Miss Patience" since she has none, so I'll have to do this while mine is still active.

Bitches at Sirius won't honor our original agreement to transfer my subscription to a new radio. Damn bitches.

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

Got a call from Sirrus yesterday and they offered 6 months for $29. I asked to get 1 year for $80 and they said no. I told them when they are willing to do 1 year for $80 then call me. I guess they rather get $0 than sign me up. Other than the talk stations the rest really suck so I won't miss it.

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

My subscription will be expiring on Jan 21st. So far, I only recevied a renewal notice in the mail 3 weeks ago with their standard renewal pricing which I did not bother with. Am waiting for them to contact me next with a better offer.

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

Mine will expire at the end of the month, been getting the letters from them since late November. Got the call the other day and the lady I was talking to would not budge on price. Told her we only drive the JGC one or twice a week now because of other vehicles and the $180 or so they are charging a year was not worth it and offered $75 total a year if they would send the bill and I could pay by check. No dice but she did say that I would probably get another call and/or letter with better offers so I guess I will wait and see.

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

I have not received any calls yet but the latest offer in the mail is basically what everyone else has been receiving which is 50% off. $86 for a year. I like Sirrus but am leaning towards not renewing as I don't listen to it enough to justify renewing. When I go on long commutes, I either listed to audio books or music that I loaded on the hard drive.

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

I just recieved a $25 for 6 months offer which goes to thier standard rate after 6 months, unless I cancel. They still won't take my offer of $80 for a year. I'll pass.

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

^ Same here... I think it came down to $7 a month. This was after I used the 6 months for $25 promo.

At first I didn't think I would renew at all... but after trying to listen to the normal radio or having to plug in my android phone for Pandora I just figured $7 was worth the convenience.

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

I called just before my free trial ran out and asked for the best deal. I was quoted the standard rate ($14.95 per month). I told them to cancel, they immediately gave me a year for $87. Not the best price, but good enough. A couple of months later I installed a new SiriusXM unit in a different car. When I called to activate, I told them I wanted the same price they gave me on the Jeep. The service rep put me on hold a few minutes, then agreed. Again, not the best price, but fair.

I called them and first rep was useless so I called back and started neg I said $85 a yr he said 86 I said ok so after taxes fees $103 a yr plus $2 fee for the invoice since I'm not giving them my cc number. I feel it's a good deal 8.79 a month...I'll take it

For that price, it must also include Travel Link.
