full range audio signal on SRT

Greetings, just bought a 2014 SRT and I cannot get a full range signal from the amifier, all the midrange seems to go to the center channel via mono audio only, I can get a full signal directly from the head unit but then I loose all audio prompts including phone calls and navigation. I got the base audio system which I believe is the Alpine 9 speaker system. I get nothing in to 400-4,000 range. Please help.

Audio system components
Focal krx2 165
Focal PC 165
(2) Arc audio 12 subs
Gladen 4to6 processor
2 Arc audio 350.2
1 Arc audio 125.2

Greetings and welcome,

First of all, great equipment and enjoy it.

If you have a 3.5 inch coaxial on the doors next to your shoulders, then you have the HK. This get a little tricker. Otherwise, you have the Alpine and since you are using the Mosconi DSP (IMHO, the best DSP around) you need the best clean signal to due this. You should sum the sub, front 6x9 and front tweeter channels. Two ways to approach this; 1 - use the ARC Audio SRI or 2 - the JL Audio Cleansweep with the CL-SSI module. The JL Audio will get you true clean flat signal and the Mosconi can do it's work.

SRIĀ*| Arc Audio

CL441dsp - Car Audio - OEM Interface - OEM Integration - JL Audio

Hope this helps.

Best for now.

Thanks for the advice, I ordered the clean sweep, let's see if it can sum the mono audio the center channel gets.

Re: full range audio signal on SRT

Greetings,

Your welcome and anytime.

You do have the Alpine system?

Based upon your setup, you are going for the traditional front, rear and subwoofer setup. Do not go after the center channel speaker. Keep to the front 6x9, the front tweeter and the subwoofer.

This is an interesting thread you should read from last year:

Factory Frequency Response

The Mosconi works the best when it gets the 20-20k signal. Then you will be rocking. If my budget would have allowed me, instead of the Rockford Fosgate 3.sixty.3, I would have gone for the Mosconi Gladen 6to8.

Make sure you watch the video from JL Audio on the Cleansweep.

Best for now.
