Galaxy S4 playlists

I've searched the forum for this, but couldn't fine anything:
I have a Galaxy S4 mini, and have all my music sorted into playlists. But when I want to play the music through Uconnect, the playlists don't show up. Not even a browse list is available, so I simply have hundreds of songs in one long list.
Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Russell

Depends on how you are connecting to the radio (and which radio).

If you are using a data cable, then the radio is probably just treating your phone as a large USB hard drive and using it's own software to sort/read the tunes.

If you are connecting via BlueTooth, then you should use software on the phone to play your songs and it should be able to use your playlists.

I'm not sure if you can use the FWD/REV buttons on the radio/steering-wheel to skip songs via BlueTooth. I've never tried it with my 430N (USA).

I just load about 5GB of songs on my HD and play them by song title.
