I've got my Z110(soon to be a 120 after the update is done) ready to go. I'm just trying to find out all the changes that have been made from the 2010 to 2011 model. With forums like this and helpful sites like WK2Jeeps.com it sure makes it a lot easier.

If it were me I'd wait 4-5 months and buy the new WK2 RHR radio which will be the new replacement for the WK2 RER.
New member to the forum here, and this information has been tremendously helpful! Hoping to place an order for a fully loaded overland shortly, but this last post has wondering if I should actually wait.

Milous - do you have any information on the upgradeability of the Overland radios? I'd prefer to buy a new jeep now with whichever radio is upgradeable to the RHR model you refer to when available. Will that be a possiblity?

Either of the current radios would be upgradeable to the new RHR.

Thats what I'd imagine the parts department.. or possibly you can find a chrysler/jeep dealer online who sells at a discount..

Yes, and the price would (should) include a jar of vaseline

After they've been out for awhile they usually appear on ebay for much cheaper than new at the dealer.

So you are not just talking about a software update to change to the RHR, you are talking about replacing the whole nav radio unit with a new one. Correct?

It can't be a software update I dont believe.. if You look at the 430N they changed the layout of buttons even though very similar its a tad different.. But I assume/believe its a complete unit.

Re: Has anyone purchased & installed MYGIG in a 2011?

I emailed and called chrysler jeep to see if I got the 430n now if I would be able to install the 730n rhr when it came out and in both cases they said that they did not know at this time that I would have to just keep checking back that they did not have the spec yet so could not tell me for sure. and both time methods I had them escalate to corporate and got the same answer.

No, not a software update, you would be replacing the existing radio with the new one.
