Re: Has Your RHR Lost Memories?

Glad I found this thread ! We took delivery of a 2012 Overalnd Summit with the 730N unit on 1/3/12 - have had it wipe out the address/home location info 3 times since then ... just checked and we have the v2.116 software - I will talk to the dealer about the v2.120 and see if that helps

Appreciate the insighs everyone has provided and hope to return the favors someday

Re: Has Your RHR Lost Memories?

After reading some positive reports on here I downloaded the update and installed it last night. Took about 2 1/2 hours to download on broadband cable. Installed in about 40 minutes. While installing, it knocked out the BLIS and when I opened the liftgate the hazard lights flashed intermittently. The upload otherwise went smoothly and appears to be correctly installed. The other weird things stopped upon completion. Now we'll see if the memory holds, although it has been holding for about five weeks now.

Re: Has Your RHR Lost Memories?

Stupid question but where do you go on the nav to see what software version you have?

Re: Has Your RHR Lost Memories?

Press the menu hard key, then I believe it's the nav settings soft key, then system information.

Not sure if home address and memory setting in the address book are holding or not. I need to give it awhile, probably a few weeks. Before the update it would stay maybe 2 weeks or so. I also have not added anything to the address book yet as I plan to fill that up to capacity with my customers contact info. So thay will take awhile but I will get a start on that this week.

Will report back in a few weeks.

Oh and it took them forever to perform this update. Not sure if they were just busy or the update took that long. I also had them start the process on my drivers seat wear mark on the saddle leather issue. The wear mark started at only a couple thousand miles.

Re: Has Your RHR Lost Memories?

It seems that saved addresses remain for no more than two weeks. I have tried multiple times. The only addresses that remain are those in the recent folder. This problem has been on the forum for over a year now. I guess Jeep does not care about its customers.

Re: Has Your RHR Lost Memories?

I installed 2.120 update two months ago and have not lost Home Address or any other addresses. Before the update, I would loose them about once a week.
