Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

I must admit, those are really sweet looking the more I see them. Makes me wish I needed them for any reason at all, haha. Vizualogic and Myron Davis both make active headrest screens, but these are actually much nicer looking IMO. But at ~$300 it's inexpensive enough to almost do it for no reason at all. Might help trade-in value more than $300, lol

I've never quite gotten the fascination with having the movie play up front. I had it on a previous aftermarket system, tried it once, and vowed to never do it again. It was HUGELY distracting.

Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

I looked at the Vizualogic in person and they looked almost cheaper than these. Thy stuck out from the headrests over 6 inches which is ridicules.

Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

OK I am almost ready to ditch my tablet mount setup for two of these monitors.

I see there are some control looking buttons on the front under the screen. Can those be locked at all so backseat passengers can't fiddle with them??

Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

Not that I have seen. My daughter can't push them when she is in her car seat so it's not a problem yet for me.

Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

After living with them for a while, how is the quality?
Do they still look great, and function great?

Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

They function perfectly and have a great picture. My 2 year old loves putting her shoes on them and with a quick wipe with a cloth, they look brand new again. I highly recommend them.

Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

Just out of curiosity, there's a video output in the back of the OEM HU for these, even without the rear dvd system? Not something that has to be enabled with some sort of a flash at the dealer, is that correct?
