Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

Very interested in copying your video setup. Do you know exactly what module you used to get the video to the monitors?
Thanks

Re: Headrest Monitors Installed

Bringing this thread back to life. I have a 2014 and am looking to do this for my kids. I don't have a CD player at all in my vehicle. How do you get the screens to play movies?

I am able to play DVD's off the 430N and the video plays on the rear screens in motion just not on the front.

The monitors have great video quality and look very "OEM"ish. They have a black rubbery coating on them that matches well with the leather interior. The mounting system is very sturdy and I have no doubts they will hold up. The wiring for the monitor is routed through the seats.

I don't like the idea of overhead monitors due to how they block the view out the back window as well as how the rear passengers have to kink their necks up to view them. After a lot of research, these were the best ones I could find that fit all the qualities I was looking for. The ones they make for the Mercedes are huge and bulky and look tacky imho.

Here's furthe info on the monitors...
How much did you pay for them and where did you get them at?
