How to remove stock headunit/touch screen

I have searched high and low and cannot find a definitive thread showing how to remove the factory "headunit" on a '14 GC. I even checked wk2jeeps and found nothing on there, which surprised me.

Can anyone guide me in the right direction? I would like to install a LOC and sub level control knob while i am back there.

thanks,
Anthony

If i happen to disconnect the headunit, will i need a security code when i fire it back up? I am going to assume no being that it controls more than just the stereo.

No code needed. I've taken it out a few times now.
