Rear - Focal Performance PC 165 - 6.5"
Amp - JL Audio XD400/4 for Front door........possibly bridged
Amp - JL Audio XD600/6 for Rear Door, Center and Rear Pillar
Processor - Rockford 3Sixty.3
Sub.......Stock on factory Amp
As long as you are satisfied that you want to keep the factory sub, then the setup is pretty good. Depending on your amp wiring kit and how you connect them, a 3rd mono amp for future upgrade is possible. IF you have any doubts, then return the 400/4 for the JL Audio xd 1000/5v2. Rewiring for the right amp power kit always cost more later on.
The only question left is how you want to setup the front speakers. From the best guess as from the previous post link (see my last post link on Factory Frequency), the factory 6x9 starts the drop out around 1500 - 2000 hz (cycles). The Focal Tweeters do like a higher frequency before they kick in. You can play with the crossover settings on 3.sixty.3 to find your sweet spot. If you feel that the 6.5 is not giving you enough mid punch and the tweeter is not sounding to you liking at the lower setting, then you might have to sum those channels with an external device. IF you are not going to use the passive crossover for the fronts, then the rear pillar should be connect directly into the 600/6. IMO, it is better to keep the center on the 3.sixty.3 in order to have ability to tune the entire front stage and have L/R channel imagery in concert with the center imagery. For me, when their is to much high end or tweeter effect in the center, it looses the whole effect from the L/R channels in a small space as in a car.
As with any DSP unit, make sure you read the instructions carefully and get the latest software and manual release. You can very easily blow your tweeters out during the set up. When you are ready for the 3.sixty.3 and have questions, just contact me.
Hope this helps.
Best for now.
