Try going to sonicelectronix.com, pay special attention to NVX mini amps that can easily fit a 4 channel and sub amp under the passenger seat in your wk2 screwed down to the battery cover.
I've got 6.5" Alpine type-R components front and rear, 12" Alpine type-R sub and Alpine PDX-V9 running the whole thing. Sound is still unbelievable to me a year later. No matter what your budget is you'll find something at sonic. Always use quality wiring. After installing since 1991 I've found that there is no substitute for clean true gauge power wire, good ground and quality RCA cables.

Yes, I squeezed a PDX-V9 under the passenger seat. Quick runs for rca's...even quicker run for power. For a 5 channel amp with the power it has, it's pretty small. I'll try and get some pics tomorrow.

Ive had Alpine PDX amps before and like them, this amp would be great for my new system!!!

Got a couple of questions.

They do not have speaker level inputs, how did you feed the signal?

Does it have a remote turn on signal? how do you turn it on and off?

THX in advance

Well I'm running an aftermarket nav in the dash so I've got 3 pairs of rca's running down the console under the carpet to the seat. That said I'm running a remote turn on from that head unit with the rca's. If you're going to run stock, try using one of these...

It'll give you rca's and remote turn on for any amp off the factory head unit.

Or just get these. They have speaker level inputs, shitloads of legit power and small enough to hide anywhere.

The front tweets are hot glued to factory location. Used an ASB 6x9" to component speaker adapter plate to mount midbass. Behind each midbass I've made baffles to seal off each driver (front and rear doors) from inside and used foil HVAC tape to seal the whole thing (made a huge difference in bass response). Amp is bolted to the battery cover.
