Hell, my hearing has deteriorated to the point that Sirius even sounds good on my Alpine system.

Even still, I plan on getting the HK in my next GC.

Same here. Except my hearing is still good lol

The Alpine system is actually decent for what it is. I've owned a lot of vehicles and the Alpine does not disappoint, it just lacks decent lows and clarity.

I've tested the HK system briefly on the lot while I was getting my oil changed. It was impressive. Reminds me of my old Bose home theatre system. Tons of clarity. I'm not an 'audiophile' though. My wife's Lexus GS has 19 speaker Mark Levinson and I liked the HK (for the brief moment I tested it) better than the ML. I would say the small price to pay is worth it for the HK.

I went with the summit due to the HK system and of course when I get a new SRT it is going to have the HK , I would not go any other system. It is definitely great for a stock system compared to some of the other things you get now days. A good system can make or break your choice of a vehicle if you have an ear for sound.

My HK sounds great, but my ELS DVD Audio system that was in my 2013 MDX Advance was out of this world!

Greetings,

Without a doubt does the ELS system sound fantastic.

I am not sure which speakers they used, but it was defiantly an upgraded version that was on a audiophile level. The DSP was from Panasonic who outsourced to a very good firm. It has been around for a good period of time with Acura.

Best for now.
