iOS 6.1 + USB

So, some good news. Apple FINALLY removed the "Accessory Connected" screen in the music app when it's connected via USB. While connected, you can now browse the music right on your iPhone, instead of being forced to use the clunky browsing on most stereos, 730n included. It's about damn time.

That's great news! I need to try that out.

Re: iOS 6.1 + USB

Anybody else having problems with not being able to actually select the song you tap on the iPhone screen? When I go to artists -> albums -> select a song, it will start playing, but not actually the song I picked. It will pick another song on the album. Talk about frustrating. I verified that random isn't selected on the iphone or the head unit. It certainly is better than before, but nowhere near good.

Overall, I can't believe how clunky the iphone/ipod interface is (at least on the base model RES with sat radio that I have). Is it any better on the RBZ or nav units?

On every other late model chevy/ford/toyota that I've driven with USB input, it's so quick and easy - but not so with the Jeep.

Re: iOS 6.1 + USB

My iPad does this most often via bluetooth. Does it with BT headphones too. I have to restart the iPad to get things back in sync.
