iPod skips a beat at beginning of song

Hello all. My iPod classic 80gb skips a note or two at the beginning of every song. Once it gets going, its fine. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

Since we had the latest uConnect update (430 system, no nav), when the end of a song is reached it starts to play the new song (first couple of notes), then stops and restarts it from the beginning. I mentioned it to the service rep at the dealer and he said that they don't report on those types of issues. Just wondering how I can report this to Chrysler so that they have a record of it and can work on a fix...

Re: iPod skips a beat at beginning of song

My RBZ radio does the same thing when I try to use my 30gb iPod. I did both flashes (radio and UConnect), but neither fixed the problem.

In the end my solution was to load my music onto the radio's HD. Now it works like I want and that's one less thing to worry about storing in the arm rest.

Having that large display I am disappointed there's no album art.

This is a minimal issue to chrysler and their Engs know about it. I don't think their will be an SW update for this issue. I will look more into this though and get back.

Re: iPod skips a beat at beginning of song

I have the same issue using my iPod Nano. I intially thought it was because I have on the crossfade on the iPod, but it does the same thing when I turn the crossfade off.

It is also very disappointing not having the album art.

I guess it's not an issue big enough for Chrysler to address. Perhaps if enough of us complain perhaps it will get addressed.
