iPod issue

So I unplugged my iPod from my 2012 Honda Crosstour and plugged it in to my 2014 WK2 Overland (with Nav) for a road trip. And the iPod wouldn't play. The Jeep's audio system basically ignores it, as it there is nothing connected. Hmm. So I remove it and plug it back into the Honda. And now it won't work in the Honda either. The Honda displays a code that says "incompatible version". But if I plug the iPod into my Bose home docking station it plays just like normal. Anybody have an idea of what the heck is going on?

thanks

Re: iPod2 issue

Have you read the UConnect manual, page 291. You have to do more than plug it in.

Re: iPod2 issue

Thanks for the tip, but yes, I am using it the way the manual says to. Something else is going on.
