Is Therea Blendmount That Fits a 2012 Overland with SmartBeam?

I ordered on line, specifying my exact GC model with a "recessed" mirror stem, but what I got is never going to fit. It would probably work fine with a recessed stem on the back of the mirror, but the SmartBeam mirror stem on top.

Has anyone used a BlendMount successfully in this application? If so, which Blendmount is the correct model? Thanks!

An answer to my own question: I called the manufacturer and there is no Blendmount for any SmartBeam mirror, nor are there plans to produce one.

Dang! Such a great solution . . . except that it doesn't even come close to working!

What are you trying to mount? I seriously thought of blendmount, and just went with SuperCup. I've been happy about my decision. Both my SuperCups remained solid all winter.

I'm not familiar with the Smartbeam mirror. Would these work?

An Escort 9500ix radar detector. I'm currently using a Supercup. I had an earlier version go bad, but they may have fixed the problem. I checked out the mount you listed and they do not make one for the GC.

The SmartBeam mirror utilizes a top-mounted stem that is tapered, whereas both the BlendMount and the Country Joy Craft mounts utilize conventional back-mounted stems. I'll continue to look for ideas. I've got a 9500ci (remote mount detector) in my other vehicle. I may end putting one in the GC.
