Re: JGC Software version 14.05.3

I'm going to try and reinstall the update. If that doesn't help I may revert back to the previous version and see what happens.

I'm kind of scared to do this after reading all the issues people are having... :/

You can always put the prior version back in. I may go back 2 versions to get shuffle back.

Re: JGC Software version 14.05.3

Well, I went out to reinstall the Uconnect update, and all the POIs were back! I guess, like with many other glitches with the JGC, an ignition cycle or two seems to fix things. Before I whine again on the forum I guess I'll just cycle the ignition a few times and rattle some magic beads.

Yeah, but how do you go back 2 versions when only 1 old version one is still showing on the site??

If you need older than 13.48.3 can't help but if that's the one you need use this VIN on the Uconnect site. It's the one I rejected for paint and other body flaws.

I believe Willx has all the old versions still available in the VIP Uconnect / Updates and Tips section.

Re: JGC Software version 14.05.3

Thanks!! I only asked because the version I have now is 2 versions old and works well for me so I haven't done any updates lately. The only thing I'm missing is the "Auto Dim Mirror Button" otherwise I've been satisfied with the old version I have.

Seeing all these issues with the new version makes me worry I might make mine worse if I do the update... so just didn't know how I would go back if it screwed it up.

Not quite as bad today, but not great. This morning found the GPS back in California and moving along with the Jeep and the volume fixed.

Now the backup camera is in a perpetual earthquake and I still have no Bluetooth and Hands-free capabilities.

Re: JGC Software version 14.05.3

Spoke too soon about it being a good update. After a few days camera jitter is back, Grand Cherokee logo no longer comes up on vehicle start, etc...

Maybe they should have it do a full reboot every few days. It seems to do better after one...
