You can borrow mine, it's an authentic "Cherokee" bead rattle.

Re: JGC Software version 14.05.3

After having the update for the last couple of dates, things have changed. Logos are all now back and all seems to run ok.

The only issues still boogered or vastly different than the previous version:
1) Takes a while to get off the "welcome" screen at start up (maybe 10-20 seconds). Was very quick with last software.
2) The compass still takes up to 30 seconds to display the direction.
3) Volume stopped working but I think this is a blackberry issue since it happened on my pathfinder occasionally before. Restarted the car and all was fine.
4) Camera still sucks

New problem after update: Radar maps in travel link sometimes don't come up at all. Was finally fast in the last release.

Also had weird delays using bluetooth to call someone.

When are they going to figure this software out?!?

I had 14.05.3 installed yesterday. I now have a problem that every time I start the vehicle, the sound system balance/fade is always in the wrong place. I have to manually set it back to center. This never happened until the update. The vehicle is 1 year old this weekend. Anyone else have this happen? This is the RA4AN radio in a 2014 Summit.

I had that centering issue prior to the upgrade and managed to un-stick it prior to the upgrade.

What I think I did was go into audio settings through the apps menu and change it there instead of through the audio menu.

Good luck.

I had this problem when I updated to 13.38 in my Limited.

The problem cured itself in a couple days.

I tried going to settings in the APPS menu and it still does not hold the setting in the center. It seems to always go to fill rear setting. Thanks for the suggestion, maybe it will take a few cycles or more time.

It finally corrected. I moved it all the way forward and then back when going in to the settings menu via APPS and this did the trick. It is now staying centered on startup. Thanks for the tip.

This update makes me wonder if there is any correlation between those of us largely unaffected by this update (me and later 11/6 build, not counting shuffle is worse) and those who are getting jacked up by it (early build?).
